The honest summary
This site sets no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. It stores exactly one thing, and only after you have chosen: a record of your own cookie decision, so the banner stops asking. Nothing about that record reaches us or anybody else. It sits in your browser.

Categories in the banner
Strictly necessary
Always active, and cannot be switched off. At present this covers only the consent record described above. No consent is required for it under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive because it is needed to provide the service you asked for.
Statistics
Reserved for anonymous measurement of which pages are read. No statistics tool is currently in use on this website. The category exists so that if one is ever added, it is switched off by default and only runs after you allow it.
External media
Reserved for embedded video and audio, for example YouTube or Spotify. No such embeds are currently in use. If any are added, they will not load until you allow this category, because those providers would otherwise receive your IP address and could set their own cookies as soon as a page loads.
Changing your mind
Open at any time, from here or from the link in the footer of every page. You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which removes the stored record entirely and makes the banner appear again on your next visit.
