What helps in a first message
Who the artist is and where they are based. What has already been released, and roughly how it performed. What you are trying to achieve and by when. Whether there is an existing manager, label or publisher involved. Links rather than attachments.
Unsolicited demos are read, but a short note explaining the ambition behind them is read more carefully.
